RubRub v Geometry Funkin is a delightful crossover fan project that blends the world of Geometry Dash with the rhythmic style of Friday Night Funkin' (FNF). It reimagines the classic GD player icon, RubRub, with a funky, FNF-inspired makeover, creating a unique and stylish tribute.
This project is a true collaboration, with @AwezomeXD responsible for the coding and @-KawaiiX_ designing the custom, funky RubRub icon. The playful spirit is evident from the start, with a humorous nod to a declared war between NinjaMuffin99 and RobTop. The game evolved through three quick versions: from its initial v1 release, to v2 which updated the miss animations, and finally v3 which polished the icon by fixing a small head outline.
Accessibility is key, with a highly flexible control scheme. Players can use a variety of keys to play, including the arrow keys, WASD, as well as P, T, L, and M. This ensures everyone can find a comfortable setup. It's a short, charming experience that celebrates two iconic gaming communities in a single, fun package.
